Delete your data
PDF Scan Kit has no accounts, servers or databases of its own. Your documents stay on your phone, and an optional Google Drive backup lives in your own Google Drive. You are in control of both, and you can delete everything yourself using the steps below.
1. Documents on your phone
- Open a document's menu in the app and choose delete. It is removed from the device immediately.
- Or uninstall the app. This removes all locally stored documents and preferences.
2. Google Drive backups (only if you turned backup on)
- Open Google Drive with the Google account you used for backup.
- Delete the PDF files the app created there. PDF Scan Kit can only see the files it uploaded itself (the
drive.file scope), so the files the app made are the only ones to remove.
- Empty the Drive trash if you want them gone permanently.
3. Sign out and remove the app's access to your Google account
- In the app, open Settings → Google Drive backup and tap Sign out. This clears the account name and email stored on your phone.
- Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions, choose PDF Scan Kit and select “Delete all connections” (or remove access). This revokes the app's permission on Google's side.
4. Ad data
Ads are served by Google AdMob under Google's own terms. You can reset your advertising ID or turn off ads personalization in your Android settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads). We do not hold this data.
